Our Beloved Harley

To have loved and then said farewell, is better than to have never loved at all. For all of the times that you have stooped and touched my head, fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you. For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly. For all of these things I am grateful and thankful. I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND. Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the Sun shines gently down upon all of God's creatures. I can run, jump, play and do all of the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no regrets and no aging. We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever. You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you are so rare and unique. Don't hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies, and you are loved and missed as surely as we are. Your Pets In Heaven
This picture was taken the week before Harley passed away, This was also the first time Harley came to sit with the kids. Mason thought it was hilarious that Harley sat on his lap.He loved to be outdoors Harley always slept right in the middle of Mommy and Daddy just like a baby....He was our first 10 years ago.

Daddy's Little Helpers

Daddy is building Mommy a office to work at home.
The kids are sure to help him, or make a mess with him as I call it. Meghan holds the sheet rock up for daddy She checks to see how Daddy is doing on the other end.
She lost her hammer in her tool belt........
Mason loves this stuff.........So fun to work with Daddy.
"It's a messy job, but someone has to do it"
Meghan takes a break and laughs at the camera.

Minnesota State Fair

Mason can spot a tractor 3 miles away. When we went to the fair, he was in heaven.Meghan thinks they are cool also. "Do they make these in pink? Orange is not my color."
What a happy boy. We will be driving and out of nowhere, Mason will yell in back and point out a tractor hiding in the shrubs. It's very strange the way he finds those things.

Vacation

Mommy is on vacation from August 29th through September 14th. We are enjoying our time being outside and spending time with the family.

Meghan loves to pull her brother around in the wagon.

We took a trip to the Minnesota Zoo and Meghan went wild on the fishy.

(kinda reminds me of someone named Auntie Donna....) ha ha

We played in the water a bit also.

Mason wanted to just watch as Meghan played in the water. Now the video certainly reminds me of Auntie Donna. Except it wasn't a fish, it was a elephant........with one ear when she was done.
