Waking Up

Waking up every morning to see where Buddy is or what he has done has become a
favorite in our house. This morning they found Buddy had got into the
sugar and dumped it to make snow angels... The kids
were ecstatic!!! When they come home tonight, they will find that Buddy took their stockings..
and put a replacement in..

Buddy the Elf

Most of you probably have heard of Elf on the Shelf.
Yes, We have one also. The kids have named him Buddy.
Buddy is a little mischievous this year for some reason. Maybe he is taking after the kids???

One week ago today....

One week ago today,
We had to put our last pet down.
Tucker was my little baby and its been very very
hard to deal with on a daily basis. I work at home and him not sitting next to
me in the office snoring is just a memory.
Everyday we have reminders of him that hit our memory.
The kids ask daily about him.
In remembrance of Tucker: This is what was sent from his Veterinarian clinic.
Just this side of heaven lies the Rainbow Bridge. When a beloved pet dies, it goes to the the Rainbow Bridge. It makes friends with other animals and frolics over rolling hills and peaceful, lush meadows of green. Our pets do not thirst or hunger. The old and sick are made young once more; the maimed and the ill become healed and strong. They are as healthy and playful as we remember them in days gone by. Though happy and content, they still miss someone very special, someone they had to leave behind. Together, the animals chase and play, but the day comes when a pet will suddenly stop and look into the distance... bright eyes intent, eager body quivering. Suddenly recognizing you, your pet bounds quickly across the green fields and into your embrace. You celebrate in joyous reunion. You will never again separate. Happy tears and kisses are warm and plenty; your hands caress the face you missed. You look once more into the loving eyes of your pet and know you never really parted. You realize that though out of sight, your love had been remembered. And now, you cross the Rainbow Bridge together....

We LOVE you sooo much Tucker and will miss

you everyday. You meant so much in our life!!

Santa Baby

Yet another year has passed. Santa was at Ryan's Christmas work party again this year.
What fun to see the kids visit him and tell them what they wanted.
OK, So maybe everyone didn't have fun.
Landon tries to get away, but not before a
quick snapshot taken by mom!
Meghan tells Santa what she wants.
Little did Santa know he was in for a very
long visit from Meghan.. Her list is never ending.
Meghan asks "Did you get all that?"
I think Mason was scared stiff except for his eyes.
He managed to muble he wanted a DS for Christmas.
and a Rock Star (guitar)
Got the gift, So I am making a run for it.
